Laser assisted in situ keratomileusis, commonly referred to as LASIK, is a corrective alternative to glasses or contact lenses. Like glasses or contact lenses, LASIK is a method for treating refractive conditions including nearsightedness (myopia), farsightedness (hyperopia), and astigmatism. Our doctors provides pre- and post-operative exams for LASIK and other eye procedures. Call either office today to schedule an examination to see whether you are a candidate for LASIK.

Myopia Control

Myopia is another word for near-sightedness in which glasses are needed to help see far away. For a variety of factors, the incidence of myopia is increasing drastically, and progression of myopia in children is progressing faster. High myopia can lead to several ocular complications including cataracts, retinal detachment and glaucoma, therefore it is part of our job to find ways to slow the progression of myopia. Myopia management solutions include eye drops and specialty contact lenses called MiSight 1-day disposable contacts. These contacts are the first FDA approved contact lenses to slow myopia progression.
